releasing device

It is supplied complete with special grease for assembly and perfect functioning.
The Sachs Racing clutch-flywheel kit delivers more transmittable torque and more stability, longer life and superior thermal resistance. The containing sintered clutch disc has a higher friction coefficient than plates with organic friction material. That allows for higher transmittable torque and makes them very dirt and oil resistant.

The weak two-mass flywheel will be replaced with a lightened one-mass flywheel made of steel - Light weight flywheels keep less inertia in storage but the lighter rotating mass provides significantly improved engine response and acceleration characteristic. It also allows for faster and sportier gearshifts. he clutch systems from ZF Sachs Race Engineering have brought motor sports teams worldwide to the forefront, from mass sports to Formula 1. Royal Enfield 350 Series

We have driven many Indian motorcycles (pulsar, karizma, old CBZ, pulsar 220) but the bullet is one bike which thrills us every time we ride it. The ride, stability, pick up, handling is all perfect even though the basic design is some 50years old! We believe that this is the safest bike one can buy in India thanks to its solid weight, large wheelbase, and big tyres. To drive a bullet for the first time is one experience you will never forget and will almost always leave with a desire to buy your own!

At Rs. 65000, the Bullet is a real thing. Must ride it. If you don’t want to buy new, buy old. And do get one if you like adrenalin! Simply because this is a bike to drive and feel and not talk much about. One ride changes you thinking about driving. The Bullet is more comfortable than even cars for a driver.

Royal Enfield Electra Motor Bikes Photos

A unique motorcyling experience awaits you, so drop in and test ride a Royal Enfield today.

The first 4-stroke motorcycle manufacturer in the country, Royal Enfield was incorporated as Enfield India Limited on the 21st of November 1955. Ever since the plant was set up in Thiruvottiyur in 1956, Royal Enfield saw success in every step.

With the Bullet 500 becoming the most coveted model of the brand in 1993, the Eicher Group acquired the Company and changed the name to Royal Enfield Motors Limited in 1994 and kept introducing some of the best machines that we now know of.
It's not exactly like either! It is very hard to compare a modern Bullet to any other motorcycle, precisely because it is an extremely unusual hybrid of old and new. If you ride a modern Hinckley Bonneville then you're in no doubt that you are riding a 'tribute' bike: an entirely modern motorcycle which has been styled to look like a traditional one. The Royal Enfield range aren't like that: they are a fusion on old and new - probably more like a Moto Guzzi or BMW Boxer in terms of feel.
t has an all-alloy lean-burn engine, electric start, 5-speed gearbox, left-foot shift, and a disc front brake. The engine proved very reliable on our 3000 mile test ride and needed no attention whatsoever. The 280mm, single-caliper disc brake suits the bike's performance and allows you to ride with more gusto than if you were relying on a drum, but it's not so powerful that you're in danger of nipping up the front end in the wet. The earlier drum brake needed setting up quite carefully, so the disc is especially useful if you don't want to spend more time fettling your bike than riding it.

The engine does feel quite different to the traditional Bullet motor, and its looks don't please everyone. It also takes quite a while to run in: our bike had done a thousand miles before the long ride and was noticeably more flexible and nicer to ride some 2800 miles later.
Our bikes were fitted with the Highway Kit, which is useful if you ride long distances, or regularly carry a pillion, or if you're used to riding a machine of substantially greater capacity (a 500cc single can't be expected to pull like a 1200cc V-twin). The Highway Kit boosts the Electra's mid-range and gives it a spot of oomph for over-taking which came in very handy.

The bikes were very comfortable between 55 and 65mph, and they'd cheerfully run at 75mph for long sections of dual-carriageway or motorway when required, with scope to scoot over 80 if needed to pass traffic or pull up a long hill. You're more likely to feel fatigued from being wind-blown that find the engine running out of puff at those speeds. We found it far more enjoyable to stick to A-roads and the 50-to-70mph speed bracket where the Electra is at its most rewarding to ride.
You can buy some versions of Bullets (but not the 500 lean-burn Electra) from bucket shops, and it's much the same as buying dodgy DVDs from a man at a market stall. The UK importer, Watsonian Squire, have put a lot of effort into developing the Electra and improving the overall build quality of Bullets. If you bypass the official importer then you benefit from none of this work, you have none of the warranties, and there is an argument that you jeopardise the future development of the marque.

If you really want to buy a cheap Bullet, then there are plenty of secondhand ones available which are extremely good value.

Is the lean-burn engine particularly fuel efficient?

We scoffed at the claims when we first heard that it could average 80-plus miles to the gallon, but in practice we achieved better figures than that on our run and we were using the bikes fitted with the Highway Kit which is less frugal than standard. Without trying hard we broke the 85mpg figure and, after a while, we got so blasé about filling up that we travelled over 450 miles before remembering we'd forgotten to refuel! If you hammer along at motorway speeds then you won't get these results, but A-road cruising proved very economic.
ROYAL ENFIELD will unveil the Woodsman 500, the latest in a long line of Bullet motorcycles, at this year's NEC Bike Show.

The Bullet has been in continuous production since 1949 and the Woodsman is inspired by the street scramblers of the late 1950's that the company exported to the USA.

With its distinctive high level exhaust system, trials style bars, the classic British single is powered by the company's modern all-alloy Electra engine, with 5-speed gearbox and electric starter.

The traditional pushrod design means owners will experience the characteristic feel of a British single, combined with impressive fuel economy - the factory quotes 87mpg, which means a tank range of around 250 miles before switching to reserve.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird Photos

Royal Enfield is really turning up the heat with their new UCE engined creations all set to make a mighty impact on leisure motorcycling and touring in India. Royal Enfield showcased all their current Indian offerings at the 2010 Indian Auto Expo.

This time however, the Cast Iron and the AVL engines were replaced by the Unit Construction(UCE) engine platform that Royal Enfield intends to use in all of it’s upcoming motorcycle models. While the old Bulleteer bunch were in for a shock with the UCE engine used for the first time on the iconic Royal Enfield STD350, which has steadfastly featured the standard 350cc Cast Iron engine for more than 50 years now.
While, the classic Cast Iron engine is finally being laid to rest due to the emissions strangling it, we feel a twinge of sadness to see the legendary, long stroke 346cc cast iron engine being discontinued. That said, nothing is permanent in this ever changing world, and Royal Enfield has outfitted the STD350 with the UCE engine. This, in a bid to keep the model alive while managing to meet the stringent emission norms that the Bharat Stage IV norms lay down for all automobiles in India.

However, the real showstoppers at the Royal Enfield pavilion were the export model Royal Enfield Classic UCE500s and the Royal Enfield UCE500 Cafe Racer concept. We have already blogged on the aforementioned models and you can read about them right here on IndianCarsBikes.

On the whole, the Royal Enfield pavilion was a refreshing breath of fresh air with a heady vibrancy and an eager anticipation of the future, that Royal Enfield is all set to embark upon with the UCE engine. Here are a bunch of images straight from the Royal Enfield pavilion.

Royal Enfield Modified Scooters

Custom Choppers are not an unheard phenomenon if you are from an Occident country (or of you watch a lot of Discovery Turbo), but here in India they pretty much are a rarity especially when the only thing closer to a cruiser we have is a Royal Enfield. Its perhaps the macho image Bullets carry with them that they still sell like hot cakes and are priced higher than a lakh these days. Its amazing how the prices have gone up in a decade, i bought my Standard Bullet 350 for 56,000/- back in 2002. If i sell it now, i can easily get 45,000/- what a good investment of money! Still, the truth be told, RE should upgrade their bikes, at least technology wise, but lately they have been involved in developing a really terrible electronic ignition and have been messing up the best part of the Bullets niche… its design. With new modern mudguards and lot more additions of fancy sports bike meters and all, they have created some really poor bastard children of Bullets and cheap Japanese bikes.
One thing i relaly like about Vardenchi is the way they name their motorcycles, Vedic, Industrial, El Toro Del Diablo, Silver Smoke, Mechanica, Skeletor, Stealth, Dark Night… just a few examples and apparently getting one of these beauties of your own costs around 3-4 lakhs… not much as compared to the American Choppers.
When the parent company is inclined towards netherworlds (with the only redemption seen in the launch of Bullet 500 classic), the hope is rising in the shape of growing culture of custom chopper designers. A huge thanks has to be said to Robbie for posting about it in our forums here. from where i started digging and discovered this great company, which easily is the ace of this breed: Vardenchi owned by Akshai Varde. There is not much of information about Vardenchi and their Flash website really doesn’t have much of juice to be sucked upon with very low res photographs and no information whatsoever and the Blog is in ashes with a few dozen posts to thrive upon. I say to the gods of Motorcycling…
However whatever i have seen at other websites and whatever was offered by the demons at Google, it got me into a phase of loads of respect for these guys, for they no longer are mechanics, but artists. I could never have dreamed Bullets being turned into such brilliant choppers. Initially i wanted to do one article each on every single creation of Vardenchi, but amidst photographs of dimensions of 320 pixels, i couldn’t get even closer. So here is one single generic article about their custom Bullets. However i will post a few articles on their more famous bikes which are available in plenty on net.

Royal Enfield Bullet Reviews

here are quite a few off-the-shelf retro bikes, combining old world charm with the modern amenities that make motorcycling a pleasure. But what if you want a 50s bike just as it was, 50 years ago? With all the original parts? Well, there actually is such a bike—the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. It’s the only bike in the world that is still produced just the way it was half a century ago. The modern Enfield bikes contain updated technology, from EFI to gas shock absorbers, but the Indian-made Bullet 350 sticks with the original 350cc air cooled thumper, and still uses a contact breaker ignition system. (I don’t know if any other production bike in the world still runs on CB points.) The 350 also has a sturdy cast-iron engine (again, probably unique amongst production bikes) and the gearbox is a separate unit. The icing on the cake is that it has the gears on the right, and the brakes on the left—just like old British iron.
. Definitely a feature no other current production bike has. The 350 retains other classic features such as drum brakes at both ends and a kick start, and an extra lever above the kickstarter: an automatic neutral finder. Above 100kph, the bike vibrates—so much so, that it reaches parts of the body that you didn’t think existed. But the sweet spot is at 80kph, when you discover what the essence of the 350 really is. Unless you ride it, it’s hard to explain the beauty of this thing: you sit ‘on’ the bike, and in India, when the legendary ‘thump’ is heard by others, they make way for you as if in the presence of royalty. I guess Kenny Rogers had the Bullet 350 in mind when he wrote They Don’t Make Them Like They Used To. Visit the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 official website and be sure to check the new, absolutely gorgeous Royal Enfield Classic 500EFI. Unluckily for most, the Bullet 350 is available only in India, and the only way to get one is to go to India and buy it there.
Royal Enfield has been one brand that entices every bike lover. Even if one doesn’t own a bike from this renowned brand yet the love and respect for Royal Enfield is the same. Their Bullet model has been capturing hearts of every bike user for the past several decades. If your grandfather loved one, you too have the same love for it. Didn’t you?Our fascination with the Royal Enfield Bullet: While we are known as nuts for Moto Guzzi, and their big Italian twins, we have have an undeniable soft spot for thumpers. Clean, lean, and easy to master, the Bullet represents an excellent entry level bike that stands out in a crowd.

New Royal Enfield Bullets are still made in India, based on the designs and tooling which were developed in Great Britain in the fifties. While these motorcycles have recieved updates over the years, and are U.S. D.O.T. legal, they still have the classic style of a decades old British thumper.

E.P.&F. is a fully authorized dealer for Royal Enfield Motorcycles, and we stock a full range of motorcycles and parts, as well as accessories for the Bullet. We will be updating these pages with more pictures and information soon, so be sure to check back!
Royal Enfield unveiled their all new BULLET 500 CLASSIC at Intermot in Cologne on 7th October 2008.

Its predecessor, the 4-speed iron-barrelled 500cc Bullet, had been in continuous production for over 50 years and the original Royal Enfield Bullet was created in 1932, so this new model has an impressive heritage that stretches back over 76 years.

Harking back to the ‘G2’ Bullet of the early 1950′s, Royal Enfield’s newest model retains the quintessential British style that is inextricably linked to the world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer. At the heart of the new Bullet 500 Classic is an all-new 500cc Unit Construction Engine (UCE), with electronic fuel injection that is homologated for tough Euro III emission standards. Frame and bodywork are new too.

This new model will be on display at the NEC Bike Show Nov 28 – Dec 2, 2008 and is expected to be in UK showrooms early in 2009.

Triumph has simply followed the successful recipe from the latest Speed Triple, Daytona 675 and Tiger 1050 and created another “must have” product. The Street Triple hits me in the gut in the same places as a much bigger capacity motorcycle.

Words: Tor Sagen/Photography: Martin Leyfield & Tor Sagen

Time stands still, I can feel the three small cylinders working together to create some sort of a crescendo way too early! How can 675cc feel like so much more, I ask myself riding both first, second and third gear into the limiter.Time stands still, I can feel the three small cylinders working together to create some sort of a crescendo way too early! How can 675cc feel like so much more, I ask myself riding both first, second and third gear into the limiter.

One of the cleverest things the modern Triumph factory did was to strip a Daytona sportsbike to create the Speed Triple. If there is one Triumph that has managed to capture people’s imaginations during the last 10 years it is the Speed Triple
